A Hallowe’en Dream fresh from the night
The New Forest of Hampshire, a black cat
Trick or treat, a curse or blessing
Wear with pride your witches hat
Cast a spell the time is ripe
The dead return to earth
Bring out your best, bring out your worst
Smile with wickedness, joy and mirth
Orange pumpkins, carve a face
Evil spirits could be about
Too much chocolate, too much wine
Children run, scream and shout
Is it an illusion this Hallowe’en stuff?
Or will you tingle in delight
Blood rushes through pulsing veins
Love the feast, or recoil in fright
What spell will you cast, but remember this
The blessed lore of three
What you wish for will return but thrice
Be pure in heart, it will set you free
Enjoy the night, have fun, celebrate
The earth is natural and pure
Respect the nature, count your blessings
Succumb to the magic, succumb to the allure
It’s a powerful time to cast a spell
You wish to contact the dead?
Don’t meddle unless you understand
What really does lay beneath your bed

This is not only a list of funny cat quotes, they are additionally also brutally true quotes and some of them really made me laugh. Hope you will enjoy the list, hope it will make you smile too…

inTerry Malloy dreams about being a prize fighter, while tending his pigeons and running errands at the docks for Johnny Friendly, the corrupt boss of the dockers union. Terry witnesses a murder by two of Johnny’s thugs, and later meets the dead man’s sister and feels responsible for his death. She introduces him to Father Barry, who tries to force him to provide information for the courts that will smash the dock racketeers.

On the Waterfront is one of the most powerful films ever made. Marlon Brando was simply beautiful and so hypnotic he literally drinks you into the screen.
Proud to say that On the Waterfront is my favourite film. Thank you dad for introducing it to me when I was a little girl. ☺️

Last night I was invited along with ‘The Sweet Jasmine Series,’ to a wonderful charity event in association with Macmillan.
The organisers were a group of Indonesian ladies, who asked if I would be so kind as to donate some of my books for the raffle to raise money.
‘Of course,’ I said!
The Indonesian ladies who were dressed in traditional attire, put on a wonderful feast of typical Indonesian food, and entertained the guests with two Balinese dance routines.
The event raised hundreds of pounds for Christchurch hospital’s Macmillan ward.
It was great fun and when people won my books in the raffle, they were really excited that I was present at the event.
What I learnt
Approximately 350 patients with terminal cancer reside at Christchurch hospital.
Money raised from charity events goes towards buying essential equipment at the hospital.
Funding for palliative equipment is limited and dropping rapidly, therefore the hospital is relying more and more on fundraising days by members of the public to keep the hospital going.
Wow!
Im so pleased my little books made such a big difference.
